TULCAN, JULY 12 - 13, 2006  

Dentists, doctors, and interns from Charity Anywhere, along with dental students from Scotland , provided services to the people of Urbina, a small border town near Colombia , in the province of Carchi . Here 92 people were able to receive medical attention. Donated toothbrushes and toothpaste were given to all who attended. City workers of the neighboring border town, Tulcan, arranged the faci1ity location of the clinic, as well as lunch.

Charity Anywhere provided a free dental and health clinic in Chapuel, of the Ecuadorian province of Carchi . 65 individuals were able to receive medical attention, as well as medicine. 47 people received dental cleanings and other dental treatments.

 

 
MITAD DEL MUNDO, JULY 29, 2006
 

CHARITY ANYWHERE FOUNDATION, with 11 volunteers, including 4 doctors, 4 dentists and 3 dental assistants.

The Medical Service Project started at 9 am until 4 pm.

The Medical Team assisted 41 patients with different diagnosis, finding skin illnesses, eye and stomach problems including parasites. In lower scale, some breathing, gynaecological, neurological and allergy issues.

The age of the patients was in a higher percentage of 30% from 19 to 59 years old; from 6 to 12 years old in a 24%; from 0 to 5 in a 22%; from 13 to 18 in a 12% and patients older than 60 in a 12%.

Every patient received treatment and medicine.

The Dental Team assisted 42 patients treated with Root Canal, Operatories, Cleanings and Fluoridations treatments.

The age of the patients was in a higher percentage of 48% from 19 to 59 years old. ; from 6 to 12 years old in a 31%, from 0 to 5 in a 9%; from 13 to 18 in a 12%

Cleaning kits, toothbrushes and tooth pastes were given.

 
GUATEMALA MISSION, AUGUST 18 - 25, 2006
 

We sent Dr Victor Malquin from the ecuadorian team to join a group of Provo students and Gordon Carter, Charity Anywhere chairman, for this Mission .

All together went to Solola northwest Guatemala city .

August 20th, 2006

The first day mission we perform Dental procedures (fluorization, operatories and root canal) were done. 21 patients were helped.

August 21th, 2006

The Medical Mission was stablished in Tierra Linda. We provided ludotherapy, brushing education, fluorization, cleanings, extractions and operatories. 83 people were helped.

August 22th, 2006

We worked in Tierra Linda, in a little school were dental procedures took place, toothbrushes and tooth pastes were given.189 patients were helped.

August 23th, 2006

We helped the rest of the community, with all the services provided previously. A total of 200 people, including children and adults were helped.

August 24th, 2006

All the medical team went to the San Jorge community, were 66 people were atended.

Next day we all went to our home places, enjoying this gratifying experience of helping the others.
