Convenio Petroecuador

El vicepresidente de Petroindustrial, CPNV-EM Edmundo Lértola y el Dr. Washington Zambrano, de la Fundación Charity Anywhere Ecuador, suscribieron un convenio para la prestación de servicios médicos y odontológicos a las comunidades aledañas al Proyecto de Construcción del Sistema de Compresión de Gas del campo Sacha, en la región amazónica.

La inversión total es de USD 388.144, de los cuales la Fundación Charity Anywhere aportará con USD 120.000 en alquiler de equipos, personal de apoyo por brigada y donación de dispositivos médicos y odontológicos a centros y/o sub-centros de Salud.

De su parte, Petroindustrial proveerá USD 215.444 y la logística para dichas brigadas.
Según el acuerdo, la Fundación Charity Anywhere brindará atención en profilaxis operatorias, exodoncias dentales, campañas de desparasitación al 100% de la población infantil en 60 escuelas de los cantones Joya de los Sachas y Shushufindi, en la provincia Orellana y Sucumbios, respectivamente.

Asimismo reforzara la capacitación a los promotores de salud en patologías como: paludismo, dengue, diarreas, infecciones respiratorias, alcoholismo y maltrato familiar. En cada comunidad visitada, se instalará un botiquín básico para emergencias y se creará una unidad de rehidratación oral comunitaria.

Además se entregará 1.500 toldillos como parte de la campaña de control de paludismo.

Petroecuador Agreement

CPNV-EM Edmundo Lértola vice-president of Petroindustrial, together with Dr Washington Zambrano, from Charity Anywhere Foundation Ecuador, signed an agreement in which medical and dental health services were to be given to communities nearby the Construction of Gas Compression project, in the Amazonic region.

The total amount invested in this project is $388,144, from which Charity Anywhere Foundation will contribute with $120,000 in equipment, personal support, and medical and dentistry supplies to Health Centers.

Petroindustrial will provide $215,444 as well as coordinating the logistics for each team.
According to the agreement, Charity Anywhere Foundation will provide services in: surgery prophylaxis, dental exodontias, preparing deparasitation campaigns treating 100% of the children attending 60 schools in Joya de los Sachas, Shushufindu, and in Province of Orellana and Sucumbios

Charity Anywhere Foundation will also train health educators in: Malaria, dengue, diarrheas, respiratory infections, alcoholism, and family abuse. Among other services provided, Charity Anywhere Foundation will furnish a basic first aid kit together with kits to treat dehydration to every community visited.

Charity Anywhere Foundation will also provide 1,500 tents as part of their campaign against Malaria. Charity Anywhere Foundation Ecuador is a non-profit organization that provides humanitarian aid in Medical and Dental assistance helping the country.
